History
- 1830: Setting-up of A. Yvon and sons' in Bonnétable, in Sarthe, near Le Mans. The oldest sawmill in France which is still working and developping.
- 1947: Setting-up of the SFM company (processing industry of wood), in Dakar, Senegal.
- 1967: Setting-up of the SFM company in France, near Le Mans, (department of Sarthe).
- 2002: Certification ISO 9001 : 2000 by TÜV
- 2005: Certification PEFC by Bureau Veritas
- 2006: Certification FSC / L&M Project (Sustainable Development)
- 2007: New Logo - "The three trees"
- 2008: Certification OLB & SD 21000
- 2010: ISO 9001: V.2008
